1. Arrival: It is important that all children arrive no later than 8:30 am so as not to miss Circle Time.

 

 

2. Authorized Pick up: The nursery will release a child only to an authorized adult whose name is listed on the Pick-Up Authorization Form. Please inform us in writing anytime an adult other than the ones listed will pick up your child.

 



3. Illness: Kindly keep your child at home if any of these symptoms are present: fever, diarrhea, vomiting, runny nose, unexplained rashes or just not feeling well. If your child shows any of the above symptoms, he/she will be isolated and you will be contacted to pick him/her up.



4. Medication: Any medication to be given to a child should be stated clearly by a note and given to your child's teacher. All medication will be stored in a locked box and refrigerated, as needed.

 



5. Dress Code: All clothing must be child manageable, respecting the child's quest for independence. We ask you please to send the child in easy comfortable attire. Velcro shoes are perfect. Jewelry is not appreciated. Kindly label all clothing with child's name.



6. For your convenience, we will supply you with two aprons bearing your child's name.


7. Celebration: Please inform us one week ahead if you are planning to have a birthday party for your child, in order to make our necessary arrangements. We would love to have you there!

 


 8. Volunteer: We encourage parents' involvement or volunteering. Please let us know if you are interested.

 


9. Departure: We thank you in advance for picking up your child by 3:30 pm thus respecting the closing hours of the nursery.
 

 


10. Adaptation Period: We know that the first two weeks are very hard on both child and parent. Please do not hesitate to call anytime during the day to ask about your child.
