Daily
routines offer children a sense of stability, and a feeling
of warmth and caring from their teachers.
|
At Innocent Minds,
we follow a basic daily schedule.
We provide a healthy balance for children, between group
times and more solitary moments, quiet and noisy activities,
indoor and outdoor play.
Our typical
day starts with free play where children play around
with toys, read books and socialize. Breakfast is
then served after which children sit around to participate
in Circle Time.
|
|
After
Circle time, the teacher directs the activities according
to the monthly theme and the class time table.
At nap time, children rest or sleep in their specially
designed mattress-like beds, after which they are
directed to the dining area where they have their
home cooked meal.
They use toilet before and after lunch so as to learn
to wash their hands before eating and brush their
teeth after that.
Artistic activities is the last item on their agenda.
These include painting, drawing, coloring, gluing,
cutting, etc
